Ahoy!

I grew up in Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India with a passion for cricket (like most Indians) and computers. This led me to pursue an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering from R. V. College of Engineering, followed by a Master's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have been fortunate enough to work on varied domains in the indsutry from content delivery networks to detecting fraud in online transactions to serving original content for Amazon Alexa users.

Now I am building the voice connectivity platform at Twilio.

I am inspired to build systems that help people in their day to day life. I like contributing to open source, learning new technologies and my research interests include Distributed Systems, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval.

In my spare time - I love to write, read epic fantasies, climb mountains and explore the outdoor world!
